SOCIAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL RESPONSIBILITY
We take our commitment to social and environmental stewardship very seriously. We
made a promise to our customers that we will only purchase and roast Organic Fair Trade
coffees. We live up to that promise everyday, and will continue to do so.
Our pledge to use only organic coffees, guarantees that you, the consumer, will always
have access to premium gourmet coffees without fear of insecticides, pesticides, chemical
fertilizers, or any other pollutant. All of our products are grown using strict guidelines
that prohibits the use of any type of ground pollutant. Organic products prove, and will
continue to prove, that sustainable crops can be grown without damaging the ground it is
grown in.
As well as organic products, we have made a pledge to utilize Fair Trade certified Colombian
coffees. Fair Trade practices ensure that farmers are paid a premium for their products so
that they are able to sustain their farms and earn a living while doing so. Fair Trade
coffees sell for a set amount ABOVE the current market price. That money is given back
to the farmers, and they in turn, continue to produce premium gourmet coffees.
Through the use of Organic and Fair Trade coffees, we can set an example to show that
business doesn’t have to destroy the land. Together, with you, we know we can make the
world a little bit better. It has been said that a journey of a thousand miles begins with
one step. We invite you to take that first step with us, for we know that together, WE
CAN MAKE THE WORLD A LITTLE BIT BRIGHTER.
